The Toronto Alumnae Association is excited to launch Foundation Focus! This is a feature that will be shared on our website and in our newsletter. It will focus on the efforts of DG ladies to “do good” in their lives. To submit your own Foundation Focus, email the TAA at email@example.com.
Here is the first entry by Vice-President, Foundation, Krystal Osborn:
I thought I’d share my most memorable time as a Delta Gamma collegiate member at Zeta Omicron at Wilfrid Laurier University. During my first initiated term, I was Director of Fundraising and we were holding our annual Pastapalooza, which is an all you can eat spaghetti dinner. It was my first major event, and I was very nervous. I ran back and forth and encountered some major problems; however, at the end of the day I was so blown away by the kindness and hard work all the women around me had shown. Everyone had encouraging words to say about me and my efforts. We even raised more money than in previous years! I will never forget the support of my sisters, all of whom were just getting to know me. We were all united under to raise money for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) and together we achieved that goal!
